The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 SM-P900 is one of the fully featured 2014-realesed Samsung’s Android tablets with gigantic 12.2-inch screen, stylus integration, and myriad of useful software features, storage expansion slot and more. It is now available online and can be purchased from Amazon.com.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 sports a 12.2-inch Super Clear TFT LCD display with 2560 x 1600 of resolution, up to 10 fingers multi touch functionality, widescreen aspect ratio of 16:10 and S Pen support. There’s enough room to comfortably write with the S Pen, and there’s enough screen space to use the Multi Window Mode with four or more apps on the screen at once.
The SM-P900 Wi-Fi-only version of the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 comes with Samsung’s Exynos octa-core 5420 chipset with four 1.9GHz processor cores and four 1.3GHz cores, 3GB of RAM and Adreno 330 graphics GPU. It has a choice of 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with microSD card slot that support up to 64GB cards.
It works on Android Kitkat 4.4 as operating system with Samsung TouchWiz user interface on top of it. There is also the tablet-specific Magazine UX. As well as apps from Google, including Google Play, Gmail and YouTube, it has access to Samsung apps such as ChatON, S Suggest, S Voice, Smart Remote (Peel) and All Share Play. There is also Hancom Office for Android, Remote PC, Cisco WebEx Meetings and Samsung e-Meeting. Additional pen-oriented features and apps have been added to the Note Pro 12.2 namely handwriting-to-text, Air Command menu which provides shortcuts to pen-oriented features such as Action Memos, Screen Write, Pen Window, S Finder, Scrapbook, My Magazine and an updated version of S Note.
Other important features to note are – Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac support with MiMo, with 2.4GHz and 5GHz band compatibility, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot and DLNA support, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB v3.0 port for connectivity and charging and supports USB-on-the-go and MHL TV-out. It also features feature GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS for navigation. The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 also has an IR blaster allows the tablet to control TV's and other devices using Samsung's WatchON app. It is also equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, zero shutter lag and a LED flash with Full HD 1080p@30fps recording and 2-megapixel front-facing camera 1080p@30fps, dual stereo speakers, and 9,500mAh battery.
